On April 14, the San Francisco Yiddish Combo will be hosting the North Bay Jewish Music Festival at the Polly Klaas Theater. This event will run from 2 - 4 pm and feature two exciting musical acts performing Jewish music and beyond, plus a guest speaker. Tickets are $25 The San Francisco Yiddish Combo will be headlining the second year of this festival, and will be joined by internationally-traveling cantorial soloist and Acapella music performer Stephen Saxon, and guest speaker Dr. Elaine Leeder, professor emerita of Sociology from Sonoma State University will be giving a humorous talk Held at the Polly Klaas Theater, the afternoon will begin with a performance by Stephen Saxon, who has created a unique cycle of songs that reference traditional Jewish music in an exciting new way built around his well-known powerful bass vocal skills. When your name is pulled you get 5 minutes to tell your personal true story. At the end of the evening everyone votes by text for their favorite story of the night.
