As usual, Ragtag Improv brought the playful energy by the ton to a pair of wonderful shows! First up, the kids had a raucous good time laughing and playing games with the performers. Next, for the evening show. the grown ups... ALSO had a hilariously good time laughing and playing games with the performers. Ragtag really knows how to put on a show, and the two full house performances show it. Don’t miss them next time they’re here on May 11th!

Come out this Saturday for one or both of two shows with Ragtag Improv! A very talented group, they are sure to put on a show that’s entertaining and full of hilarious improv moments. The first show at 3:30 is a child-appropriate, fully improvised show for families to enjoy together. This show will be about an hour long—just right for kiddos’ attention! And at 8:00, the first half of the second show is composed of short scenes and improv games - think Who’s Line is it Anyway - and the second half is a fully-improved one-act play. Lots of laughs, plenty of surprises, and a special evening of improvised entertainment. See you there!

Thank you to the Mahakaruna Kadampa Buddhist Center for bringing Gen Kalsang Rigpa to our space for his talk ‘Calm Anxiety’!

It was a full house with many members of local Buddhist temple Mahakaruna Kadampa and the community in attendance. Following a short breathing exercise and meditation session, we heard about how to manage the stresses of life viewed from the vantage point of Buddhism, and also with plain common sense strategies for slowing down and putting things in perspective. Overall, it’s exactly the kind of event we love to have here; one that brings in the community for an evening that can enrich and entertain everyone. We look forward to having them back soon!

ARTS ALIVE PETALUMA!

As a self taught street dancer, Tina learned the value of self determination at an early age. A native of Sonoma County, Tina earned experience and acclaim in music, break dance, hip hop, and athletics during her school years. While attending UC Davis, she turned her passion for the arts, fitness and wellness into a popular example of master teaching not only to children but people of all ages.

Tina is a natural teacher and role model who truly enjoys using arts education and fitness, as tools to “crack-the-code” in child development that lasts a lifetime.
