Following in the footsteps in her family lineage of musicians and dancers, Maria began dancing when she was seven years old. Maria has been teaching, performing, and touring internationally since 2006. AMADOU CAMARA is a Djembefola, a master drummer from Guinea West Africa. Hailing from the Baga people, he started drumming when he was a young child. Amadou and his brother joined Le Ballet National Djoliba founded by Sekou Toure’, Guinea’s first president after Independence. Ballet Djoliba recruited the best artists of Guinea to represent and promote Guinean culture internationally and toured across Africa and Europe.
